Description of key information

The ready biodegradability of the target compound 2-Chloro-N,N-dimethylethan-1-amine was predicted employing three different predictors: BIOWIN module of EPISuite, Toxtree and Vega. The three predictors were employed in order to apply a weight of evidence (WoE) approach to enhance the reliability of the predictions. In the weight of evidence assessment only reliable predictions are to be taken into account.

In the case of the target compound 2-Chloro-N,N-dimethylethan-1-amine, it was predicted as not ready biodegradable by BIOWIN (moderate reliable prediction) and as persistent by Toxtree (reliability assessment not applicable).

Thus it was concluded that 2-Chloro-N,N-dimethylethan-1-amine was predicted as NOT ready biodegradable and the prediction was assessed as moderate reliable.
