- Justification:
Persistency assessment:
The bioelimination of Reactive Red 084 after 28 days is 0 % in an inherent biodegradability study performed according to the OECD Guideline 302B. BOD5 and COD value of 58 and 1057 mg O2/g test mat. was determined. Based on these results is not indicative of rapid degradation, hence its persistency cannot be ruled out.
Bioaccumulation assessment:
Reactive Red 084 was determined to have a log partition coefficient (log Kow) of -2.2, hence, it is regarded as neither bioaccumulating nor very bioaccumulating.
Toxicity assessment:
Reactive Red 084 was found to have 48 h LC50 and NOEC of 100 mg/L to Daphnia magna and is considered to be not toxic.
Taking above discussion into account, it can be concluded that Reactive Red 084 is neither bioaccumulating nor toxic and hence, doesn't fulfil the criteria for being a PBT substance.

- Dermal exposure possible, in case of skin contact with thy dyeing solution happens accidently during the dyeing process.
