Description of key information

Biodegradation degree (DOC removal) after 18 days: 90-100%

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

A DOC Die-Away test according to Annex of EEC-Directive 92/96, corresponding to OECD Guideline 301 A and ISO Standard 7827 was performed to determine the ultimate degradability of the test item in water. An initial test concentration of 58 mg/L was applied. Based on DOC removal a mean degradation of 90 -100% was observed after 18 days. Hence, the test substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
