Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A study with a similar substance showed no significant uptake of the test substance in fish. The calculated BCF value for the similar substance a have been far below 500. A similar behaviour is expected for the test substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A bioaccumulation study with the registered test substance is not available. The bioconcentration of a similar substance has been examined in flow-through test via aqueous exposure. An exposure (uptake phase) of 14 days was carried out. No significant uptake of the test substance has been observed in the fish. Therefore, a depuration phase has been waived, since the measured concentration of the test substance in fish would have correspond to a BCF value of 50. The bioconcentration factors determined in this study have been far below the trigger value of 500. In accordance to the results of the study, which have been considered in an analogous read-across approach, bioaccumulation of the registered test substance is not expected.
