Additional information

Due to the high water solubility of the test substance (>500 g/L at 20 °C) and a low potential for adsorption to organic soil and sediment particles (log Koc 1.65), the test substance will be found predominantly in the aquatic environmental compartment. Additionally, the calculated Henry’s Law constant indicated a low volatility of the test substance (1.07E-006 Pa m3/mol at 25°C).

The substance is stable in water, as no abiotic hydrolysis of the test substance is expected. A test for biodegradation revealed that the test substance is not readily biodegradable under the test conditions.

Furthermore, the test substance has a low logKow value (0.58 at 20 °C according to OECD TG107). Therefore, the test substance is not expected to be bioaccumlative in aquatic organisms.
