Description of key information

Half life period of Benzyl 4-hydroxybenzoate  in water is observed to be 15  days (360 hrs.) while in sediment it is 135 days (3240 hrs). Based on these half life values of Benzyl 4-hydroxybenzoate , it is concluded that the chemical is not persistent in water and persistent in sediment.
