Conclusions:
Adsorption coefficient of 3-Methylpyrazol on soil:

log Koc (soil) = 1.2 +/- 0.8 (pH = 6.0; 25°C)

Adsorption coefficient of 3-Methylpyrazol on sewage sludge:

log Koc (sludge) = 1.2 +/- 0.8 (pH = 6.0; 25°C)

The log Koc values lie outside the limits of applicability of used method. Because the determined adsorption coefficients are close to the lower limit of the method, the result may be considered reliable.
Executive summary:

The adsorption coefficient of test substance, 3-Methylpyrazol, on soil and on sewage sludge was estimated. The HPLC method with reference compounds was used. The test was performed according to the Method C.19, Estimation of the adsorption coefficient (Koe) on soil and sewage sludge using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Published in O.J.I. 142, 2008.

Adsorption coefficient of 3-Methylpyrazol on soil: log Koc = 1.2 +/- 0.8 (pH = 6.0, 25°C)

Adsorption coefficient of 3-Methylpyrazol on sewage sludge: log Koc = 1.2 +/- 0.8 (pH = 6.0, 25°C)

Description of key information

Adsorption coefficient of 3-Methylpyrazol on soil: log Koc = 1.2 +/- 0.8 (pH = 6.0, 25°C)

Adsorption coefficient of 3-Methylpyrazol on sewage sludge: log Koc = 1.2 +/- 0.8 (pH = 6.0, 25°C)

solids/water coefficient was calculated with EUSES 2.1 = 0.95  m3 x m-3 => log kp solids/water = 0 L/kg for a density of 1

suspended-matter/water coefficient was calculated with EUSES 2.1 = 1.36 m3 x m-3 => log kp suspended-matter/water = 0.13 L/kg for a density of 1

sediment-matter/water coefficient was calculated with EUSES 2.1 = 1.26 m3 x m-3 => log kp suspended-matter/water = 0.1 L/kg for a density of 1
