PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The lithium salts of dicarboxylic acids (C6-C10) substances are not persistent, as they are readily biodegradable. The substances are not bioaccumulative, with the highest measured logKow value well below the value of 4.5 set out in the screening criteria. The substances do not meet the screening criteria for toxicity as they are not classified, with the exception of acute oral toxicity category 4, and the acute aquatic toxicity results are above 0.1 mg/L. Overall, the substances are not P, not B and not T and therefore the lithium salts of dicarboxylic acids (C6-C10) are not PBT or vPvB.
