Additional information
The toxicity of FAT 36038/F to activated sludge was determined in a 3-hours respiration inhibition test according to the OECD Guideline No. 209, and to the EEC Method No. L 133/118. The test substance concentrations tested were 320, 100, 32 and 10 mg/L, at which the % inhibition observed were 0, 0, 0 and 1.71 %, respectively. Hence, the IC50 (3 h) of the test substance FAT - 36038/F was determined to be >320.0 mg/L. The supporting studies performed to determine the toxicity of FAT 36038/A, FAT 36038/C and FAT 36038/D to microorganisms according to Internal Method B-10 reported the IC50 greater than 300 mg/L in all the cases. Based on the data from these studies the 3 h IC50 of FAT 36038 can be considered to be greater than 320 mg/L.
