Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the two components of the substance Amides, C18, branched and linear were determined by QSAR calculation with EPIsuite 4.11 (MPBPWIN v1.43) using the Modified Grain Method. Values of 2.83E-04 Pa at 25 °C and 1.91E-04 Pa at 25 °C were determined for the C18 iso and C18 linear components respectively.

In a supporting study the vapour pressures of the two components were also determined by QSAR calculation with SPARC (v4.6). The calculated values of 3.66E-07 Pa at 25 °C for the C18 iso component and 2.94E-07 Pa at 25 °C for the C18 linear component are very low and support the very low vapour pressure values determined by the EPIsuite calculations.
