Description of key information

Initial b.p. expected >= 90°C (as solution in heptane, extrapolated from solvent).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance considered in the present dossier is manufactured as a 15% solution in n-heptane. Reliable value is available for the solvent (ca 90 - 100°C for commercial gardes), supporting data provide an estimation for the active substance with a higher value anticipated (>200°C, with possible decomposition). Therefore heptane is likely to drive the (initial) boiling point of the technical substance. Moreover, as solute generally increase the b.p. of a solvent, the retained data can be considered as a minimum limit value.
