Results

Preliminary screening test

The pile ignited with a small yellow flame which self-extinguished after 24 seconds without propagating combustion.

The result of the preliminary screening test obviated the need to perform the main test.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test material has been determined to be not highly flammable as it failed to support combustion in the preliminary screening test.
Executive summary:

The flammability (solids) was determined by measuring the burning rate of test material prepared as a pile of set dimensions. Testing was conducted using Method A10 Flammability (Solids) of Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Part A: Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties.

The test material has been determined to be not highly flammable as it failed to support combustion in the preliminary screening test.
