Conclusions:
Interpretation of results: insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
test done according to standard protocol. However, the solubility of the substance reflects the solubility of the pregnant liquor as the substance is considered insoluble. Moreover, occurence of small particles in the solution cannot be avoided which in turn may have an influence on the test result.
Executive summary:

Solubility of the substance was determined according to standard protocol. The sample did not indicate high solubility in the preliminary test. In the actual flask test the average solubilities of S and Zn were 1.14 and 1.67 g/L, respectively.

Description of key information

The flask test indicates a solubility in the g/l range for S and Zn.

However, the solubility of the substance reflects the solubility of the pregnant liquor as the substance is considered insoluble. Moreover, occurence of small particles in the solution cannot be avoided which in turn may have an influence on the test result.

Various types of leach residues were analyzed. They display differences in phys-chem. properties depending on their chemical composition. The most representative leach residue was used.
