Fatty acids, C16 -C18, lead salt does not require classification for explosiveness.

This substances does not contain functional groups that are directly associated with explosive properties. The absence of reactive groups in the structural formula and the oxygen balance being less than -200 (stearate moiety) indicate that the substance will not decompose violently under formation of gases or release of energy (and thus does not pose a risk for explosivity).Since this analysis has provided adequate justification to assume that stearic acid lacks explosive properties, and given that the lead cations also present in this inorganic compound are considered to be “inert” in the context of explosivity, the substance “ Fatty acids, C16-18, lead salt“ is therefore also considered to be void of any explosive properties.

Further, it is noted that during long term industrial use of the substance, no observations relating to explosiveness have been made, and the substance is not classified for explosive properties according to UN transport regulations.
