The bioaccumulation potential of 1,2,3-propanetriyl triisooctadecanoate (CAS 26942-95-0) is expected to be low. Though the partition coefficient of the substance (log Pow: 23.72) indicates a potential to accumulate the bioavailability of the substance is expected to be low. This conclusion is based on the low water solubility and low calculated bioconcentration and bioaccumulation factors (BCF/BAF). Furthermore the substance is expected to be extensively and rapidly metabolised via carboxylesterases. Therefore, in accordance with Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 the bioaccumulation potential is considered to be low.
