A short-term fish, short-term daphnia and algal inhibition study are available for the registration substance.

The observed L(E)C50 values from the acute aquatic toxicity data are 1.03 mg/L (96-hour for freshwater fish), 1.16mg/L (for freshwater invertebrate) and 1.29mg/L (72-hour growth rate EC50 for freshwater algae).

The algal inhibition test is also considered a chronic test. The observed NOEC based on growth rate was 0.502mg/L.

Long-term toxicity testing is not available for freshwater fish or invertebrates. In accordance with Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, long-term toxicity testing is not considered to be necessary as the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA) demonstrates safe use of the substance.
