Administrative data
First-aid measures
General:
First aid personnel must be aware of own risk during rescue!
Inhalation:
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Provide fresh air, warmth and rest, preferably in a comfortable upright sitting
position. If respiratory problems, artificial respiration/oxygen. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Ingestion:
NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS! Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be
kept low so that stomach vomit doesn't enter the lungs. Rinse nose, mouth and throat with water. Get medical attention immediately!
Skin contact:
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention if irritation persists after washing.
Eye contact:
Do not rub eye. Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting
the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Fire can be extinguished using: Dry chemicals, sand, dolomite etc. Foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder. Water fog or mist.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire. Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will cause frothing.
Hazardous combustion products:
Fire creates: Toxic gases/vapours/fumes of: Carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon dioxide (CO2). Hydrocarbons.
Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards:
During fire conditions, vapours and decomposition products may be released, forming flammable/explosive mixtures in air.
Specific hazards:
Closed containers can burst violently when heated, due to excess pressure build-up.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
Move container from fire area if it can be done without risk. Cool containers exposed to flames with water until well after the fire is out.
Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources.Bund for water control.
Protective equipment for fire-fighters:
Leave danger zone immediately. Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
Thermal decomposition or combustion products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Avoid inhalation of vapours and contact with skin and eyes. Provide adequate ventilation. In case of spills, beware of slippery floors and
surfaces.
Environmental precautions.
Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses. To prevent release, place container with damaged side up. The product should not
be dumped in nature but collected and delivered according to agreement with the local authorities.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Wear necessary protective equipment. Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate. Stop leak if
possible without risk. DO NOT touch spilled material! Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers. Collect spillage in
containers, seal securely and deliver for disposal according to local regulations. Clean contaminated area with oil-removing material.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Avoid inhalation of vapours/spray and contact with skin and eyes. Provide good ventilation. Avoid heat, flames and other sources of
ignition. Good personal hygiene is necessary. Wash hands and contaminated areas with water and soap before leaving the work site.
Wear protective skin cream on exposed skin before and during work shift.To reduce sun sensitivity a sun-blocking lotion (SPF 15+) can
also be applied prior to application of a protective cream. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep in original container. Store in a cool and well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Take precautionary
measures against static discharges. Protect against physical damage and/or friction. Store away from: Oxidising material.

Exposure controls:
Protective equipment
Engineering measures:
Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. All handling to take place in well-ventilated area.
Respiratory equipment:
No specific recommendation made, but respiratory protection may still be required under exceptional circumstances when excessive air
contamination exists. It is recommended to use respiratory equipment with combination filter, type A2/Р2.
Hand protection:
Wear protective gloves. For exposure of 1 to 4 hours use gloves made of: Polyethylene/Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol (PE/EVAL). Discard gloves
as soon as any signs of degradation are noticed.
Eye protection:
Wear approved safety goggles. Use face shield in case of splash risk.
Other Protection:
Provide eyewash station. Wear full body industrial type work clothing, including chemical resistant boots.
Hygiene measures:
Promptly remove any clothing that becomes contaminated. Wash promptly if skin becomes contaminated. Wash hands at the end of each work shift and before eating., smoking and using the toilet. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. contaminated clotking to be placed in closed container until disposal or decontamination. Warn cleaning personnel of chemical's hazardous properties.
Stability and reactivity
REACTIVITY: Stable at standard temperatures and pressure.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Avoid heat, flames, sparks and other sources of ignition. Containers may rupture or explode if exposed to heat.
INCOMPATIBILITIES: oxidising materials.
