Classification and labelling according to DSD (67/548/EEC) Justification for classification or non classification Three acute tests have been performed with fish, daphnia and algae. EC50-values were in the range of 1-10 mg/l. p-Cresol is readily biodegradable. Therefore, a classification related to risk phrases R50, 51, 52, 53 or combined risk phrases is not required. Classification and labelling according to CLP (EC 1208/2008) Justification for classification or non classification p-Cresol is readily biodegradable. Three acute tests have been performed with fish, daphnia and algae. EC50-values were in the range of 1-10 mg/l. Several chronic tests are available. The lowest effect concentration was found in daphnia with a NOEC of 1 mg/L. According to 2nd ATP, a classification “chronic cat. 3, H412” is required.
