Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Justification for type of information:
In accordance with Column 2 (Specific rules for adaptation from Column 1) of Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH), it is considered justified to omit the simulation testing on ultimate degradation in surface water (required under point 9.2.1.2) as the chemical safety assessment concludes that the substance is of no immediate concern to the environment. The available data are adequate for classification and labelling purposes and PBT assessment, further testing is therefore considered inappropriate. Also direct and indirect exposure of the soil and sediment is unlikely.

Description of key information

In accordance with Column 2 (Specific rules for adaptation from Column 1) of Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH), further biotic degradation tests were considered unnecessary. The substance is considered to be of no immediate concern to the environment and the available data were found to be adequate for classification and labelling purposes and PBT assessment. Adaptations from the standard data requirements were submitted to address the individual endpoints (required under points 9.2.1.2. 9.2.1.4 and 9.2.3).
