Additional information

As for the fish, the key study on aquatic invertebrates was performed at the Mitsubishi Chemical Saftey Institute Ltd, Japan on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Gouvernment of Japan. It is a static GLP study according to OECD guideline 202 on Daphnia magna resulting in an EC50 (48h) >1000 mg/l. This result is supporte by a BASF-study (1988) according to EPA guideline EG-1 with an EC50 (48h) >500 mg/l which indicates a low hazard potential of epsilon-Caprolactam to aquatic invertebrates.
