The substance is non-flammable based on the test according to EU A.10 (preliminary test; very slow propagation of combustion). Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected. Since the substance is produced and formulated only in wet processes, self-heating is not expected.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification:
Based on the EU A.10 test, the substance is non-flammable.
Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected.
Based on the fact that the substance is produced and formulated only in wet processes, self-heating of the substance can be excluded.
