Additional information

No data are available on the hydrolytic stability of Fatty acids, tall-oil, Bu esters. Due the ready biodegradability hydrolysis testing is not required under REACh. Two supporting study entries (QSAR and a read cross to Fatty acids, C16-18 and C18-unsatd., branched and linear, Bu esters CAS: 163961 -32 -8) indicate that the test substance is hydrolytically stable with a half-life of >1 year. Based on a QSAR estimation using SRC AOP v1.92, Fatty acids, tall-oil, Bu esters is susceptile to indirect photodegradation in air. The estimated half time for the reaction with OH-radicals is 4.4 to 4.9 hours (24 hr day; OH-concentration 0.5E+06).
