Additional information

The boiling point of the substance fatty acids, tall-oil, butyl esters (CAS 67762 -63 -4) was obtained from SRC database. Result at reduced pressure makes probable decomposition before boiling at normal pressure.

This is supported by measuring the boiling point of a similar substance fatty acids, C16 -18 and C18 -unsatd., branched and linear, butyl esters (CAS 163961 -32 -8) by Differential Scanning Calorimetry according EU method A.2 / ASTM E 537 -86 (decomposition temperature: 367.85 °C at 1002.1 - 1013.3 hPa).
