Description of key information

For the oral route, 2  reliable acute toxicity studies in rats were identified. These studies indicate low acute oral toxicity for 1,3-Dioxolane, with a LD50 exceeding 2000 mg/kg bw.


For the inhalation route, one reliable acute toxicity study in rats was identified, indicating low acute inhalatory toxicity for 1,3-Dioxolane, with a LC50 of 68.4 mg/L (0.0684 mg/m3).


There are no data on acute dermal toxicity.
