Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test substance inhibited the respiration of the activated sludge in a concentration dependent extent. The highest obtained inhibition was 94.8%.

The pH of the incubation mixture after the 3 hours incubation was between 8.29 and 8.35. The test substance did not influence the pH. The following EC values for the test substance were obtained:

EC20: 14 mg/L ( EC-Value) 6 -22mg/L ( 95% confidence limits)

EC50: 37mg/L ( EC- value) 21 to 53 mg/L ( 95% confidence limits)

EC80: 103mg/L ( EC- value) 73 to 133 mg/L ( 95% confidence limits)
