At the three main determinations the pKa1 showed a standard deviation below 0.1. Therefore, the study can be considered as valid.

Results of this study are stated as follow:
The pKa was calculated as 10.348 ± 0.012
and
The pKb was calculated as 3.652 ± 0.012

These values are the means of three independent determinations ± their standard deviations.

Also, very slightly EQP’s were visible in the pH-range of 9.1 – 6.0. But due to the low solubility of the test substance these EQP’s cannot be evaluated.

No observations were made which might cause doubts concerning the validity of the study outcome.

Conclusions:
The pKa was calculated as 10.348 ± 0.012 and the pKb as 3.652 ± 0.012.

These values are the means of three independent determinations ± their standard deviations.
Executive summary:

The dissociation constant of Sylosiv A4 was assessed according to OECD guideline 112. The substance had dissociating properties, its pKa was calculated as 10.348 ± 0.012.
