Description of key information

Flash point is a property of flammable liquids and is not relevant to TFE, which is a flammable gas at normal temperature and pressure.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Testing is technically not possible to determine a flash point for TFE and according to REACH Annex XI Section 2 testing is waived. TFE is a flammable gas at standard temperature and pressure, and therefore flash point is not relevant since it only applies to liquids, being the temperature a liquid generates a flammable vapour at standard pressure.
