Description of key information

Data waived - Study scientifically not necessary / other information available. The study does not need to be conducted because the substance is a solid which melts above 300oC. No determination of boiling temperature was performed in accordance with the exceptions listed in column 2 of REACH Annex VII and section R.7.1.3 ‘Boiling Point’ of the REACH guidance document. This was since the test material was shown not to melt below 573 K (300°C). See IUCLID section 4.2. (Study report #2877-0001: Harlan Labs: Nickel sulphide determination of general physico-chemical properties. Study in 2010; Report Jan. 11, 2010).
