Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with section 2 of REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) Annex XI, the adsorption / desorption study (required in Annex VIII section 9.3.1) and further information on adsorption/desorption study (required in Annex IX, section 9.3.3) do not need to be conducted as it is technically not feasible to conduct the EC 440-2008 C.19 Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) on Soil and on Sewage Sludge Using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) because the test item is not detectable with diode array detection (DAD) or refractive index detection (RID)
For the test item no detectable signal could be achieved for solutions up to 250 mg/L with HPLC-DAD (diode array detection) or HPLC-RID (refractive index detection). Higher concentrations could not be achieved without unsolved matter. These conclusions were drawn from experiments described in the report 120320CP COH15061N ( see partition coefficient endpoint). Based on the results the conduction of the study in compliance to the guideline is not possible.
