Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Degradation of ODB-2 occurred during equilibration phases and aqueous solutions and soil extracts were analysed by TLC to determine the actual concentrations of ODB-2 present in soil and solution.

ODB-2 was strongly adsorped to all three soils tested. Freundlich adsorption constants ranged from 126 (Somersham) to 2053 (Sandiacre).

The adsorption/desorption behaviour of ODB-2 has been studied in three soils. Based on the results obtained ODB-2 can be classified as having a low potential for mobility in soil.
