Description of key information

waiving of toxicity study to terrestrial plants

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the short term toxicity to plants study does not need to be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. The substance shows a low adsorptive (log Koc = 2) as well as a low bioaccumulative (log Kow = 2.89) potential. Hence, a relevant distribution into soil and a considerable exposure of terrestrial plants is not expected.
