Description of key information
The Pow was calculation as the ratio between the test substance solubility in octanol (499.9 g/L) (section 4.9) and the Critical Micelle Concentration (22.1 mg/L) /section 4.10): Pow=499,900 mg/L/22.2 mg/L = 22600 =>logPow=4.35

Due to its composition and because it is surface active, the partition coefficient n-octanol/water (Pow) of the test item can only be estimated from the single solubilities in n-octanol and in water. However, as the substance forms micelles in water, the Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC) was used for a measure for the true water solubility.
