Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The key study on Daphnia magna acute toxicity (48 hours, static design) was performed with the submission substance according to EU method C.2 and compliant to GLP. In the otherwise reliable test analytical verification of test item concentration is lacking (reliability category 2). The EC50 (48 h) was determined as 39 mg/L, EC0 (48 h) and EC100 (48 h) were 28 mg/L and 80 mg/L, respectively.

Further non-reliable studies are available (restricted to 24 hours of exposure, no original study reports) which support the key study:

EC50 (24h, Daphnia magna) 44 mg/L;

EC50 (24h, Brine shrimp) 19 mg/L;

While covering only 24 hours of exposure and being not reliable, these values are very close to the EC50 determined in the reliable key study and thus support the EC50 (48h) of 39 mg/L for aquatic invertebrates, which is used for chemical safety assessment.
