Description of key information

The surface tension of the substance is determined to 71.5 mN/m at 20°C (c = 1 g/l).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
71.5
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000

Additional information

The surface tension of the substance is determined in an experimental study (BASF AG; 07L00084) following the quality management of GLP. The value is deduced using a scientifically accepted method, OECD 115 - ring method. Considering that no or minor deviations are oberseved during determination the value could be considered as valid and is therefore choosen as key value.
