Administrative data

First-aid measures

• General information: In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.

• After inhalation: Supply fresh air and to be sure call for a doctor

• After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

• After contact with skin: Wash off immediately with plenty of water. By occurence of skin irritaion seek medical advise.

• After eye contact: Rinse open eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

• After swallowing: Rinse mouth with water. Seek immediate medical advise.

Fire-fighting measures

• Suitable extinguishing agents: Special powder for metal fires. Do not use water.

• For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water

• Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Metal oxide

• Protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Wear fully protective suit.

• Additional information: Collect contaminated firefighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system. Prevent any seepage into the ground.

Accidental release measures

• Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Avoid formation of dust. Ensure adequate ventilation.

• Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/surface or ground water. Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil.

• Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Send for discovery or disposal in suitable receptacles.

Handling and storage

Handling

• Precautions for safe handling: Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Prevent formation of dust. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.

• Information about fire- and explosion protection: The product is not combustible.

Storage

• Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in dry conditions

• Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from foodstuffs.

Exposure controls / personal protection

• General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Store protective clothing separately. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

• Respiratory protection: Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol. Filter P3.

• Protection of hands: Protective gloves.

• Material of gloves: The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application.

• For the permanent contact of a maximum of 15 minutes gloves made of the following materials are suitable: Nitrile rubber, NBR, Chloroprene rubber, CR

• Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles.

• Body protection: Protective work clothing

• Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.
