Three short term ecotoxicity studies were performed at the solubility level of Fyrolflex BDP (fish, algae and daphnia). Results of these studies showed value of EC50> 1 mg/l for all the examined species. One long-term study was performed on Fyrolflex BDP (chronic toxicity to Daphnia magna). The NOEC value derived from this study is 1.8 mg/l. Accordingly, no toxicity to organisms was detected up to the substance water solubility level.
Based on the chronic study result, PNEC values for aquatic organisms (fresh and marine), sediment and soil were calculated.
