Description of key information

- The justification for data waiving is the intrinsic nature of the substance.
- Spent cooking liquors are complex mixtures of organic and inorganic constituents suspended or dissolved in water.
- Solubility of the constituents also depends on the degree of concentration of the liquors. Thus a test for water solubility should be performed for a vast number of individual constituets, which is technically not feasible.
