Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The key value is taken from a calculation procedure using SRC HENRYWINv3.10 (BASF SE, 2008)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
8.65
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Three different estimated values for the Henry´s Law Constant of triethylamine are available. Christie and Crisp (1967) reported a constant of 0.000149 atm*m³/mol at a temperature of 25 °C. The same ambient temperature is assumed by a calculation using SRC HENRYWINv3.10 (BASF SE, 2008). In this case, a constant of 8.65 Pa*m³/mol is given. Another estimation by calculation gives a value of 0.000013 atm*m³/mol (Lyman et.al., 1982).
