Additional information

Based on the results of the adsorption/desorption screening and the estimated Koc values by using QSAR calculation methods Benzoguanamine can be considered as very mobile (McCall classification) and non adsorptive to soil and sediment. As the substance has a very low vapour pressure at ambient conditions exposure of the atmosphere can be neglected.

Two Level-III-simulations (Episuite / SimpleBox) on the behaviour of Benzoguanamine in the environment have been conducted. Both estimations supports the adsorption/desorption results showing freshwater as major compartment of concern ( > 96 %). Distribution in all other compartments each are less than 3 % and therefore are considered as negligible.
