Additional information

Following approval of a testing proposal one valid experiment according to OECD211 was performed using five concentrations (5.6, 11, 19, 34, and 60 mg/L test item) to investigate effects on reproduction to daphnia magna following exposure to sulfamic acid.

The offspring of the animals was counted each working day. Significant decrease in the reproduction of the daphnia could not be observed but in the two highest treatments (34 and 60 mg/L respectively). Therefore, the NOEC was set to 19 mg/L.
