Additional information

In the environment C.I. Pigment Yellow 34 and C.I. Pigment Red 104 may release small amounts of Pb2+ and CrO42- under certain conditions.

The PNECs for lead have been extracted from the Voluntary RAR (vRAR) of lead and lead compounds (2008). The lead vRAR was produced by industry on the basis of the principles applied in the Existing Substances Regulation. The lead vRAR has been reviewed by the Technical Committee on New and Existing substances (TC NES) in 2008.

Conclusion on classification
