Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
1.3

Additional information

Should read <1.3

The bioaccumulation of the substance from water was investigated in carp over a period of 6 -8 weeks. BCF values for fish of 0.5 -0.8 were calculated for the substance at a concentration of 1 mg/L in water; a BCF value of <1.3 was calculated for a concentration in water of 0.1 mg/L (MITI, 1992).

The substance triethyl phosphate can be expected to have a low potential for accumulation.
