Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Stability

At environmental pH conditions hydrolysis is not expected to be a relevant degradation process due to the absence of hydrolysable groups (Kollig et al. 1993, Boethling and Mackay 2000).

After evaporation or exposure to the atmosphere, the substance is expected to be rapidly photodegraded by reaction with OH-radicals with a half-life of 3.1 hours (24 -h day, 500000 OH/cm3; AOPWIN v1.92, EPISuite v4.11; BASF SE, 2015).

Biodegradation

The test substance is poorly biodegradable in terms of OECD criteria and poorly eliminated from water.

Bioaccumulation

Does not accumulate in organisms.

Adsorption

Significant adsorption to the solid soil phase is not to be expected under environmentally relevant conditions.

Henry's Law Constant

From the water surface, the substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere.

Distribution Modelling

Over time the substance will preferentially distribute into the compartment water (100%).
