The assessed substance, octylsilanetriol is the silanol hydrolysis product of the submission substance.
Triethoxy(octyl)silane hydrolyses moderately in contact with water to form octylsilanetriol and ethanol.
The silanol hydrolysis product, octylsilanetriol may persist in the environment but does not meet the criteria for B or T, and therefore the hydrolysis product should not be concluded as PBT or vPvB.
