Additional information

Rats and mice exposed to DCDPS were subject functional observation screening battery of tests (NIH, 2001). This battery included tests to assess several aspects of neurologic function including autonomic, convulsive, excitability, neuromuscular, sensorimotor, and general motor activity domains. No significant signs for neurotoxicity were observable in the 14 week studies of NIH (2001) up to dose levels of 480 mg/kg bw/day in mouse and 200 mg/kg bw/day in rat.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available observations give no evidence for significant neurotoxic effects. No effect level is derived.
