Based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties and flammability in contact with water are not to be expected.
The flammability of DCDPS was investigated under GLP and a non-GLP according to the EU TGD A.10 . Based on the results of both studies, DCDPS would not be considered as “highly flammable” according to the criteria of the guideline.
It is considered needless to perform another experimental approach employing Method UN N.1. The differences in the test designs are irrelevant, since all attempts to ignite of DCDPS failed.
