The test substance has a burning time of 0.8 s and a burn rate of 7.5 inch/s; it is considered a highly flammable

solid in accordance with test method CPSC 16 CFR; 1500.44. The study is considered to be reliable; it was not conducted in compliance with GLP.

A flammable range in air of 0.8% - 21.4 % v/v at 403 K was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol. Limited details are available.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is classified as Flammable Solid Category 1 according to Regulation 1272/2008. This is on the basis of a burning time of 0.8 s and a burn rate of 7.5 inch/s.
