Results and discussion

Water solubility
Key result
Water solubility:
< 1.5 µg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Incubation duration:
24 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
> 8.3 - < 8.4
Remarks on result:
other: average of two runs
Details on results:
No test material was detected at both flow rates (24 mL/h and 12 mL/h). The analyzed concentrations are, therefore, reported to be below the limit of detection (<0.76 μg/L), multiplied by the dilution factor.

Any other information on results incl. tables

- Since no test material was detected in the fraction collected from the column, column material was analyzed to demonstrate that the carrier material still contained test material after elution with water.

- No test substance was detected in the samples from the blank column.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the substance at 20°C was determined to be <1.5 μg/L.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the substance was determined using the column elution method in a GLP study according to EC A.6, OECD 105 and OPPTS 830.7840.

Quantification was performed using a validated UPLC-UV method. No test material was detected at both flow rates (24 mL/h and 12 mL/h). The water solubility of the substance at 20°C was determined to be <1.5 μg/L, which was below the limit of detection of <0.76 μg/L) multiplied by the dilution factor. The pH of the aqueous samples was 8.3 and 8.4.
