Description of key information

The log Koc of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16-alkyl glycosides (CAS: 110615-47-9) was estimated to be 1.7 at 25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The adsorption coefficient (log Koc) was estimated according to the OECD guideline 121 using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Seven reference substances with known adsorption coefficients were used for determination of the log Koc of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16-alkyl glycosides (CAS: 110615-47-9). The capacity factor k’ was calculated for each reference substance and related to the corresponding log Koc values to draw a calibration curve. The test substance elutes in a distribution of 5 chromatographic peaks. Considering the corresponding peak areas, the weighted average adsorption coefficient log Koc of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16-alkyl glycosides is 1.7.
