Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Bioaccumulation of 2,5-Furandione, dihydro-, mono-C15-20-alkenyl derivs. itself is not expected due to the fast hydrolysis after contact in water. Any BCF study with fish would not be technically feasible due to fast hydrolysis of the substance. QSAR calculation using BCFBAF v3.1 with the main three constituents of 2,5-Furandione, dihydro-, mono-C15-20-alkenyl derivs. and the representative theoretical structure ASA T16, revealed BCF values of 3.286 – 123.4 L/kg ww, respectively. Since 2,5-Furandione, dihydro-, mono-C15-20-alkenyl derivs. show low discharge and fast hydrolysis, thus suggesting unlikely direct and indirect exposure, so that no bioaccumulation of 2,5-Furandione, dihydro-, mono-C15-20-alkenyl derivs. can be expected.
